Each piece is hand- drawn from the lines in maps so every illustration is completely unique and one of a kind, tailored to your match you wanderlust!

Custom pieces take 2-4 weeks to complete depending on my schedule.

I’ll be in touch within 48 hours of receiving your order with examples of a few maps and digital compilation of your custom piece as well as time line. If you are choosing to use your own background photograph please send to hello@modernterrain.com.

About my work:

Maps are designed on clear plexiglass - I trace the map lines within the silhouette in white ink, creating original patterns from the topography or city block lines. Each map & illustration is backed with a photograph to set the scene, either my image or one supplied by you. The unframed, dimensional nature of my work showcases the map, illustration and photographs in a single, contemporary design.

All maps are based on GIS, Forest Service Maps and historical files.
